A Lap Around the .NET Ecosystem

Wed 17 Jan 2018 Innvolve, Theater de Boemel, Tilburg

.NET is evolving - and that's a good thing! Because of this evolution, the .NET Ecosystem has become large and sometimes confusing. There are lots of things out there.

.NET Core is out there, but should you use it for every project? Is it going to replace the .NET (full) Framework? Wasn't Xamarin supposed to make everything cross-platform? And what is .NET Standard? Is that part of .NET Core? Do you need to install it? And what about Portable Class Libraries?

This session will answer all of these questions and more. Afterwards, you will be able to pick the right runtime and tools for your project AND explain the .NET ecosystem to your confused colleagues.
